About the Role
> Independently analyze, design, and develop embedded operating systems for high‑security controllers in an agile SCRUM environment
> Work with state‑of‑the‑art microcontrollers, modern IDEs, and industry‑leading development frameworks
> Work on security‑critical software for authentication, cryptographic operations, and secure data handling
> Build and support applications and applets in the smartcard domain
> Collaborate with international leading technology partners to drive innovation in the embedded sector
> Use AI-supported tools for code assistance, refactoring, testing, and documentation
> Work with state‑of‑the‑art microcontrollers, modern IDEs, and industry‑leading development frameworks
> Work on security‑critical software for authentication, cryptographic operations, and secure data handling
> Build and support applications and applets in the smartcard domain
> Collaborate with international leading technology partners to drive innovation in the embedded sector
> Use AI-supported tools for code assistance, refactoring, testing, and documentation
Your Profile
> Technical degree (University or University of Applied Sciences)
> Experience in smartcard software development
> Knowledge of standard and protocols such as JavaCard and GlobalPlatform
Hands-on experience with IDE tools like Eclipse, Keil, and GlobalPlatform utilities
> Familiarity with version control systems e.g. Git or SVN is a plus
> Experience with AI-based tools for software development and debugging is an advantage
> Strong communication skills in English
> Experience in smartcard software development

We offer for this position a package starting at € 50.000,- gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications and professional experience a market-oriented overpayment is intended.
