About the Role
- Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services in Java, and integrate them with web interfaces
- Develop secure and performant applications and embedded apps (e.g., Android Keystore, Secure Enclave…)
- Work with cross-functional teams on identity solutions
- Implement cryptography, biometrics, and secure data exchange
- Ensure high code quality via testing, code reviews, and secure development practices
- Contribute to the architecture of communication protocols and identity verification workflows
- Participate in DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control management
- Develop secure and performant applications and embedded apps (e.g., Android Keystore, Secure Enclave…)

- Ensure high code quality via testing, code reviews, and secure development practices

Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in Front-end and Back-end development (e.g., PHP, Java, C++)
- Knowledge of cryptographic principles (PKI, TLS, digital signatures) and secure storage/access patterns
- Hands-on experience with HSM
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Hibernate or other Java frameworks
- Hands-on experience in MySQL and SQL server
- Familiarity with Junit, Mockito and debugging tools
- SOAP and REST APIs, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and JWT
- 7+ years of experience in Front-end and Back-end development (e.g., PHP, Java, C++)

We offer for this position a package starting at € 70.000,- gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications and professional experience a market-oriented overpayment is intended.
